Welcome to Independent Study Introduction to Business 1A course!

Have you ever wondered what qualities billionaire Warren Buffet, visionary Steve Jobs, or Jeff Bezos all have in common? After you finish studying business practices in this course, you may discover that you have some of the same qualities as other successful entrepreneurs.

You will explore the functions of modern business management, marketing, and ethics and social responsibility that can improve or tarnish a brand. You'll also look at the human resource management side of running a business, and learn how employers can motivate their employees. You will learn job etiquette, problem solving, responsibility, people/social skills, and the importance of punctuality and attendance.

This course will provide practical applications that will connect them to the business world. This course will help prepare you for internships, competitive events, and other career opportunities.

This course could lead to you to graduate with your certificate in Business/Technology Education. Learn the business skills you need to be successful in your post high school endeavors whether you are going off to college or starting your career. The Business/Technology certificate entitles you to a seal on your transcript denoting that you earned your Business/Technology Certificate from the Corona-Norco Unified School District and the opportunity to wear a chord at graduation.
